Tivian Survey Questionnaire
Welcome to studyNAVI International
Dear Prospective Students,
Welcome to the FernUniversität in Hagen’s studyNAVI International.
You can use the studyNAVI International self-assessment survey to determine how well-prepared you are to cope with the special challenges of distance learning. The studyNAVI International survey provides useful guidance and tips for your personal use only. Completing the survey is not a requirement and does not affect your enrollment at the FernUniversität.
The studyNAVI International expectations check allows you to compare your expectations of distance learning with the actual study conditions at the FernUniversität. This is designed to give you as realistic an idea as possible about distance learning. Once you have completed the expectation checks, you can download all the feedback as a PDF file and use this as a basis for further research into studying at the FernUniversität if you need to. You are also welcome to contact the student advisory service at the FernUniversität.
Notes on how to complete the survey
To get the most out of studyNAVI International, you should work on a laptop/PC, as the display has been optimized for desktop devices. If you have technical problems despite this, please get in contact with us at zli@fernuni-hagen.de. studyNAVI International is not designed to be a “one-minute self-test,” but a comprehensive process to provide you with guidance. We recommend you work through studyNAVI International in one go. However, if you are unable to complete it in a single session, you can go back in later to finish it off. The most important thing for this is that you open the link again in the same browser and on the same PC! You can only resume working on the survey if you have cookies enabled.
Voluntary and anonymous
Participation in studyNAVI International is voluntary. You can stop at any time. You do not have to give any reason and there will be no repercussions for you. All data collected as part of this online self-assessment is treated confidentially. In addition, the data collection is anonymous; this means that no personal data is stored that would allow anybody to identify you. If you have any concerns, you can contact the data protection officer at the FernUniversität in Hagen at any time. For more information, click here:
